Organizational Chart

Jacques Pelland, Senior Director

Manages and administers the Canadian Service Center. Strategic development, growth and marketing are his principal responsibilities for both Optimist International and the OIFC. In collaboration with his team, he’s always prepared to support districts and clubs in attaining their respective goals. He attends district meetings and conventions, and puts in a lot of time and effort working with Canadian Optimist directors. He is a communication link between Optimist International and you. Logistics, problem solving and which strategies to adopt for your district no longer hold any secrets for him!

Béatrice Rossignol,
Associate Director, Member Services

Member Services is at the heart of her work. She administers all financial aspects of Canadian Optimist and JOOI clubs, in particular dues and receivables. Membership growth and new club building are a couple of her strengths. For bylaws and policies, she’s the one to consult. She can also help you find a certified trainer or an accredited club builder.

Geneviève Meilleur,
Communications and Programs Coordinator

She is in charge of communications and programs for both OI and OIFC. Chief editor and writer of the Canadian e-newsletter and responsible for passing your articles on to the magazine The Optimist, she has the task of highlighting you in one of our various publications. She can help you browse and open an Internet session. She’s also able to inform you about various aspects of programs, contests and scholarships from OI and OIFC. She can help with communication between French and English speakers and to bridge the gap between members and the St. Louis office.
